Splat

Self appointed leader of the Good Egg Gang, Splat has trouble written all over his freckly face. He loves nothing more than playing practical jokes on anyone and everyone. The last thing he would want to do is to harm anyone but as a natural clown, sometimes he doesn't know when to stop. He is hyperactive, cheeky and has the most infectious laugh ever heard! He might get up to mischief but he is generally a good egg, out to have some fun. Like all eggs he walks with a waddle and frequently falls over and rolls about, often rolling into trouble.

Cracker

Cracker also loves having a good time. She is fiercely independent and will always stand her ground. She would NEVER accept that girls are in any way inferior to boys. She has a habit of speaking first and thinking second. Above all she just wants to have fun with her two best friends.

Favourite way of passing time – climbing tree's or hiding and jumping out - BOO! She loves making eggs jump with fright.

Most commonly used saying - Girls are just as good as boys

Exactly

As his name suggests, Exactly likes things to be just so. He is more studious than the other two, forever thinking up more and more inventive solutions to problems. Although he is the brains of the group he is still up for having a good time with his two best friends. He just goes about things in a more methodical and logical manner, designing and building amazing contraptions for his friends.

Favourite way of passing time - In his laboratory (garden shed)

PC Boiler

Every town has its local Bobby and in the case of Shelltown there is PC Boiler. He's a friendly sort of chap always at hand to help out in a crisis. He uses any excuse to pop into the Egg Cup Café for a cup of tea and a home made cake. People poke fun in a gentle way but everyone likes and respects PC Boiler.

Shelly

The glamorous Shelly runs the Eggcup Café. She flutters her long eyelashes at the customers and is always able to persuade them to buy one more cake than they intended. Her culinary creations become increasingly exotic and her café is the hub of the town.

Mrs Eggbutty

No town would be complete without a town gossip - a role that Mrs Eggbutty has turned into an art form. Some folk think she has built in radar. She picks up on gossip almost before it has happened and finds keeping a secret nigh on impossible.

Grandpa Crinkly

The oldest egg in town but far from past his sell by date. Despite his age he is a sprightly individual and frequently gets himself into all sorts of scrapes. There is a part of him that never grew up and he refuses to let his ageing bones slow him down. He is still a child at heart. He is full of stories about the past and full of optimism for the future.

Lord Eggy'ot

The Eggy'ot family have lived at Carton Hall for generations and the present Lord of the Manor is a rather eccentric egg. He is a rather dashing figure and is a generous and benevolent soul. Carton Hall is often the site for grand events, galas, and civic functions. In the grounds of the Hall there is a picturesque lake. There is also a landing pad complete with small helicopter (eggicopter).

Sloppy Egg

Sloppy by name and sloppy by nature. Scruffily dressed, Sloppy is the odd job man in Shelltown. He drives around in a battered old truck, which belches smoke and backfires from time to time. In truth he would rather sit around drinking tea, reading the paper - anything rather than work. When he does get around to working he will have a go at anything but things usually end in disaster. Sloppy - can he fix it ? Unlikely but that won't stop him trying.

Scotty

Scotty is a highly resourceful individual and is someone the townsfolk look up to. He is a great organiser, very strong and handsome. Some of the other male
members of the community are even a bit jealous of Scotty and the females are in awe of him. To the kids he is a hero.

Chuck Cluck

He is a reporter for the Shelltown Gazette and in the true tradition is a pushy and loud individual always on the hunt for a good story. He drives around the town in his little red car at breakneck speed and people dive for cover when they hear him coming! He is always on the go, always talking on his "shellular phone" and is seldom seen to relax. Like a terrier, once he gets hold of something he will never let go.

The Bad Egg Gang

Stinker is the self appointed leader of the Bad Egg Gang and likes to throw his weight around. He is lazy and gets his hapless followers to do all the work. Although they are a bad bunch they are pretty harmless and totally inept. Other members of the gang include.
